Privacy policy

When working with us or attending an event, we may collect information such as your name, email address, address, telephone number, age and names of your students.

This information is stored on the devices of the project staff and freelancers and so is subject to the data policies of these partner organisations or freelancers. Your data is also subject to the privacy policy of the apps used to store information such as Word, Google Docs, Google Sheets and more.

This website gathers non-personal analytics such as time spent on site, location and type of device used (mobile vs desktop). This website does not gather personal information such as name and email address, unless you choose to share this information directly with us via email or on social media.

This website and its analytics is often linked to other third party applications in order to manage website optimisation and analytics. These applications could include, but are not limited to, Google Ads, Google Tag Manager and Google Search Console.

We are not responsible for the policies or reliability of other websites linked to from this website.

All information on this website and social media is correct at time of publishing.

Our social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) are designed for interaction with adults (18+). We recommend that the adults interacting with us or the public on these apps don’t disclose personal information of under 18s such as full names, school name, location, photos or age. If you have a question about your child using social media, the NSPCC guidance is a good place to start.

Crediting

This website shares the work of other organisations and projects.

Website photography is credited to the original photographer and/or organisation and is used with permission, except copyright-free images which are used directly from websites such as Unsplash.

If you have any crediting concerns or questions please email hello@shoutoutforthearts.co.uk

Media policy

This project works with those aged 9+. We are dedicated to protecting the privacy of the children, families and schools we work with.

Images and videos are collected with your prior permission or awareness and for under 18s, we will require direct consent, often signed, from a parent or guardian, via a specifically-designed form.

All permission forms that are signed give permission for media to be used across any present and future marketing and press purposes for Shout Out for the Arts. As a project ran by multiple organisations, this means that media is also often shared between, and can be used by, all of our partner organisations.

Media is shared with, stored by and used by organisational staff and freelancers managing this project and is therefore subject to the individual privacy policies of those organisations and freelancers and their devices.

Children’s names will never be shared without full prior consent.
