These two upcoming CPD events for Coventry and Warwickshire teachers are now available to book.

Primary Arts Teacher Network – Physicalising the Curriculum with Ascension Dance

On Wednesday 1st March, ‘Physicalising the Curriculum’ will take part at Warwick Arts Centre. Ascension Dance will translate teaching themes into dance tasks, activities and opportunities for creative engagement. No previous dance experience necessary and places free for all KS1–2 teachers, support staff and trainee teachers. Secondary Visual Art Teacher Network – Sketchbook Skills and Art Portfolios

On Thursday 16 March, a workshop at Rugby Art Gallery and Museum will develop ideas for how sketchbooks can be used by students to expand ideas and practice techniques such as drawing, collage and painting. The visual arts department from Coventry University will share informed insight into how teachers can support students with developing their art portfolio. Free of charge and open to all teachers KS3–5, support staff and trainee teachers. Find out more and reserve your space.
