The Spark Young Writers group (part of Writing West Midlands) is running upcoming writing sessions in Coventry and Nuneaton for those in junior school or high school looking to further their interest in creative writing.
These monthly writing groups are divided into two different strands:
1) School years 3-6 (junior aged).
2) School years 7-12 (secondary or high school aged).
There are also online groups available for both juniors and teens.
The Nuneaton Teen group for teen writers is led by writer John Bernard and takes place at Nuneaton Library on Saturdays. The details can be found online where you can also pre-book your ticket for £9.
The Coventry Junior group will be led by Coventry Poet Laureate, Emilie Lauren Jones and meets at the Belgrade Theatre – it is the same price.
There are also free bursary places for those who receive free school meals or pupil premium funding at school.
